Here the statue of the deity is the west face, unlike the deities in Indian temples, who face the East. It is believed that Shri Ganapatipule protects everyone from the disasters coming from the western door. Ganapatipule Temple is 375 kilometers south of Mumbai and is one of the most beautiful beaches along Konkan coast – a delightful escape that attracts peace seekers, beach lovers, and pilgrims alike.
